Sanyo Tool Co., Ltd. (STC) has developed the 'VMQE', a carbide end mill specifically designed for the cutting of soft rubber. With general-purpose end mills, it is difficult to maintain dimensional accuracy due to the elasticity of rubber, leading to issues such as burrs, chipping, and chip entanglement. This product significantly improves cutting performance through its unique point cutting edge design and peripheral nick processing. The cutting surface is smooth, and the chips are reduced to a powder form, making post-processing easy.
